Setting the Stage
In order for you to successful design a PBL, you must first build background knowledgin in the problem you are striving to solve. Following the procedure below to help build your background in your problem.
Part I: Determining your Problem
Review the Potential Problems Document. Select your top 5 choices for problems and then turn them in to Mrs. Noffsinger. She will then place you in your 2017 DYO PBL Groups.
Part II: Close Reading of Initial Problem Articles
As a group, you will conduct a close reading of the initial article to start understanding the issue and what portion of the problem you will attempt to solve. You will click on the Articles Link in the Potential Problems Document to find your assigned article AND then complete the Close Reading Graphic Organizer assignment found in the Google Classroom. Your Close Reading Graphic Organizer is due Monday, April 24th. It will be a communication grade for Engineering. The Rubric for this assignment is located with the Graphic Organizer
